Rest for the Weary

Some of you may be feeling like this:
Not Ali, but the fellow clearly knocked out on the mat- yeah that would be how I feel :-)
Well...pull yourself up, grab a chair, sip on some lemonade and rest.  It is an elusive thing, that "rest".  And after all that has happened - NaNowhateveryoudid, Thanksgiving, living daily life - you deserve a moment.

After taking a moment to rest and rejuvenate, what do plan to tackle next?

  1. NaNo is over. I didn't win, but I got pretty far. I'm taking a short break from writing to collect my thoughts, and catch up on some blogs. A day or two then I'll be writing again. I hope to revise my previous WIP as well as finish this current one. :)

  3. I took a moment this morning to create a to-do list of the projects I want to finish in 2012. Next up in December is to finish the story I worked on for NaNo, figure I'm looking at about 15K to wrap it up. But I'm taking a break when the wee beasties and My Guy are off for the holidays :)

  4. Tackling a revision after I make the rounds this morning. Not that I did NaNo. Still. Got to have a goal to reach. :)

  5. I'm pretty exhausted, so I'm taking a few breather days for reading and SLEEPING. haha. After that though, I've got to get back to the WIP and I think I'll probably start reworking my CampNaNo project now that I've had some time away from it. :D

  6. I didn't participate in NaNo, but the Row80 is still going strong through Dec 22, so I have to work on achieving my goals. The number one priority (after the family, that is) still is my unfinished novel. I'm plowing forward and soon should be (HAVE TO BE!) finished. I'm at 84000 words but still need another few thousands to write "the end" :-)
    How about you?

  7. I'm not done writing my WIP yet, but when I am, I'll take a little break before editing :)

  8. *yawn*

I know what you mean. Why is it that there's always so much to do before the holidays?

I plan on relaxing as much as possible after NaNo-stressfulness.

    Hmm..maybe some editing?
