It's My Birthday and I'll Share If I Want To :-)

I won't dive into how many years ago it happened, but I made my way into this world, a screaming little thing, hollering from the tap on my bottom meant to ensure I was breathing and alive.  All the while, I'm sure my newborn self was quite angry nobody asked if I wanted to leave the warmth and comfort of the place I'd called home for nine to ten months.

Now all grown up - well, sort of :-) - I'm a lot quieter about my birthday.  Not the big partier or gift seeker.  So, I thought it would be great to give this time around.  So what is it I want to share with you?

Smashwords or Amazon

In His Eyes is FREE at Smashwords, and $0.99 at Amazon and Barnes&Noble - hopefully to go free there as well by the release date on February 14th for Valentines Day.

You could also add In His Eyes to yourTBR list on Goodreads.

    That anthology sounds incredible!

My idea of a romantic act is when my hubby does fixes/cleans/organizes something around the house that's been bugging me like crazy, but that I know won't make it to the top of my to-do list anytime soon. I know, I know. I'm a hopeless romantic. ;)

  11. Happy happy happy happy birthday!!

As for a romantic gesture? One year for my birthday the husband got up early and made me breakfast. It was... horrible. We couldn't even manage to choke down the eggs that were somehow both burned and runny at the same time...

But it was super sweet that he tried :) And no, he hasn't attempted breakfast ever again (thankfully).

  17. The most romantic thing my husband has ever done was to propose to me through my Chihuahua. He tied the engagement ring to the dog's collar, and sent him to me. The challenge, of course, was getting the ring off him when he got excited as starting running around!

    1. Thank you. You are so kind. I just shared what made sense from my mind and heart. I've read some books where all I could do was just shake my head, though sadly there are those not just without but within who perpetuate things.
