For the Fallen...

Memorial Day -

Families gather.

Bar-B-Q, hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill.

Fun under the sun.

A day off from work

A day to remember the fallen...

You don't have to be a soldier or the loved one of a soldier to honor sacrifice.  For those who've fallen, Thank you.

    1. Thank you, Cathy. Although I'm not in the military, I can't help that deeper understanding, historically, of what their sacrifice means for each and every one of us.

  5. I didn't know it was like that - fun on memorial day, because it's memorial day. Well, as long as you remember....

    1. Yeah, people tend to visit and decorate the graves of those who were lost. And like any other opportunity, it's a good time to gather and eat. Add the fun to balance for the loss.
