That's today's post, although my week - outside of writing - carried on rather long and winded.
Briefly giving a heads up that next week I'll announce the winner of my contest to receive a paperback edition of Susan Ee's Angelfall and I will touch on a few books for my posts and share my thoughts. Who knows, maybe Me, Myself and I will make another go at a book discussion...hopefully as long as Me and Myself don't break out into another cat fight :-)
As a note - if you get a chance later - hop on over to Misha Gericke's blog My First Book. I should be making an appearance :-)
Have a great Friday.

Hope the weekend goes better, Angela.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alex. Hoping to pop open a bottle of wine, break from revisions for a moment and relax with a good book for at least two solid hours - uninterrupted lol!!!
DeleteEnjoy the weekend! We're supposed to get some much needed rain this weekend. Hope your part of Texas is cooler too.
ReplyDeleteIt's been humid and warm...normal Texas. But a little rain to cool things would be nice.
DeleteOooh, I'm sitting on pins and needles awaiting the rain. A much needed change from last year!
DeleteOMG about last year. That was just terrifying! Dried ponds, streams and lakes all over the place revealing way more trash than we knew was underwater.
DeleteJust visited Misha's blog. That image makes me break into a fit of giggles.
ReplyDeleteI loved your interview. I'm cheering you, with pom-poms, and big a big bow in my ponytail, pleated skirt, obnoxious loud voice, and a megaphone. Ugh, rough image to picture. Me, in a skirt? Not hardly!
But cheering you on, none the least!
Btw, *still giggling* :)))
It's amazing that an interest started when when we were little can turn into such a passion later in life. I admit I wish I'd started taking my writing seriously much earlier, but it happened when it was time and I'm pressing forward one keystroke at a time.
Deleteluv kitteh!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm heading to Misha's :)
Yeah, kitty had it rough lol!!!
DeleteOoooh I'm going to head over to Misha's! Hope you have a great weekend, Angela.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sangu. You have a great weekend as well. Enjoy your stop over at Misha's. She was so kind to let me take over for a moment :-)
DeleteJust following up. I enjoyed your story on Misha's blog.
ReplyDeleteAfter the crazy floods here in Florida last week, with my street more like a river up to the doorstep, it was nice to finally enjoy the beach again in the dry spell.
Hope you have a nice weekend!
That's right! Florida got hit pretty hard with the rain. Glad you can get out to enjoy some beach time :-)
DeleteHaha. I wish I could get my hair to do that. ;) Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI think some mousse can work...however, I don't think kitty had mousse to help with that look. I'm feeling his pain lol!!!
DeleteYou have a great weekend as well.
TGIF indeed. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou do the same, LD :-)
Deletei like short and sweet!
ReplyDeleteyou have a cool weekend!
As it's often said, less is more lol!!!
DeleteJust came back from reading your guest post. Thanks for sharing your sources of inspiration! Have a great weekend, Angela!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed my two bits on inspiration :-)
DeleteLove the kitteh pic. With that hairdo, no wonder it looks so mad. lol
ReplyDeleteMe and kittie were having and unwanted contest of seeing who'd been run through the ream the mos. At least I can say kittie won.
DeleteI thought for one awful moment you had a photo of me. My hair looked like that this morning!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend.
Whaaaa...? Of course not :-) Besides, I would deny all knowledge lol!!!
DeleteI hope you have a relaxing and breezy weekend, Angela.
ReplyDeleteWell, Susan...I was hoping for relaxing but turned into a little bit more fun and non-writing-related work than expected. But it's been a good one.
DeleteI look forward to another book discussion with You, Yourself, and You :) and I LOVE that kitty! :)
ReplyDeleteKitty was a mess, but the weekend has helped...a little lol!!
DeleteHope you're having a good weekend. Off to check out your interview. I'm always fighting with Myself, too! :)
ReplyDeleteBeen a productive weekend, Nick, thank you. Hope you enjoy the post and you know, the one person that's interesting to get along with is yourself. :-)
DeleteNo consolation, Angela, but you are pinching our Summer! Damn jet stream 6 miles above us is punishing us with your rain, and you are taking our meagre allotment of Sun!
ReplyDeleteOh no, Mike. I do hope the sun will come out tomorrow...are at least very soon :-)
DeleteHope the weekend has treated you better! :)
ReplyDeleteThankfully, it has :-)
DeleteSuch a beautiful blog, Angela. It's very nice to meet you. Happy IWSG.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a restful weekend, and that you're ready for the new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHmm.. I think my comment got eaten! Hope you had a restful weekend.
