#Writemotivation for July

**If you're visiting for IWSG, catch me next month.  With all the wacky writing projects I have going on in my head, there's sure to be a conundrum or three to post about.  For today, I'm focusing on goals.**

Before I get to the goals for July, let's recap the goals I had for June:
Goals for June 2012:
1: Complete first draft of NEVERLOVE by mid June. DONE!!  YAY!!  WOOT!!

2: Begin revisions of MINGLED. A little slow on the uptick but it's started :-)
3: Post 3 blogs a week, at least 3 to 4 during the month for the 2012 Debut Author Challenge. Done and Done!
4: Read 3 books.  Grave Mercy, Monarch and Clockwork Prince
5: Comment to other blogs, at least 20 to 25 a week. I'm surprised but I did it :-)

And now, for July:
Goals for July 2012:
1: Complete first round revisions of MINGLED.
2: Begin revisions of NEVERLOVE by mid-July.
3: Post 3 blogs a week.
4: Comment to other blogs, at least 20 a week
5: Plot out basic/skeletal data for MG story idea

A lot of writing to get done this month.  What do you have happening this month?

  1. You are so awesome Angela. It's such an inspiration with all that you juggle. I'm going on vacation till the end of next week so have no goals but to read a lot and have fun. I'll be posting a great interview on Monday though if you can stop by. I'd appreciate it.

    1. After the weekend you had, you deserve to relax for a bit. So does Tank, precious thing. I'm still shaking my fist long-distance about that situation.

    1. Thanks, Jamie! I will definitely have some cookies. I just need to get a bit better with this Twitter part. I think I'll try to set aside a certain time during the evening, after the paying gig, to do a bit of Twittering :-)

    1. Thanks, Cathy. It can be interesting, especially since I try not to completely ignore my Chipmunk, but it's worth juggling time with her and getting these goals accomplished.

  8. Wow,good for you for completing those June goals! And all the best with your July goals (I know you can do it!)

My July will mainly be focused on a writer's conference I'm attending. I'm also pondering attempting to write a picture book in rhyme (just to challenge myself) for my July 12 x 12 draft.

  9. Congrats on finishing your first draft! Yay!

My plans for July are to finish my draft and plot out a short story for an anthology project. Only 5 chapters to go in my WIP, but the climax isn't flowing as easily as I'd hoped it would. :(

    1. You can do it. Five chapters to go. That climax will make it's way with your WiP :-)
