But first, let's review what I'm supposed to be up to this month for September. Honestly, I've been running about like insanity was my middle name and hadn't checked so this is going to be a revelation of goals made or total fails for ALL of us (lol!!!)

1: Prepare for and blast off cover reveal for NEVERLOVE as part of Partners in ParanormYA. DONE! Gwen and I did this the week of September 3rd - 7th. And we were not alone in sharing the covers. The blogosphere, I just don't know what to say...*sniffles* Check out the reveal, if you haven't already :-)
2: Work out any final kinks of final draft of NEVERLOVE so it can be formatted and set up for self-publishing endeavor. DONE~Actually, this is more like "Stop being edit-OCD-and-let-it-go-for-crying-out-loud!" Yeah, it's like that, people lol!!!
3: Participate in/Assist with Gearing Up To Get an Agent. GUTGAA has been wonderful, absolutely wonderful! Due to my self-publishing endeavor, I've been limited to what I can do with GUTGAA, but I've enjoyed things thus far. We're now entering the Agent Pitch Contest week. Just taking a wait-and-see approach for what happens next.
4: Post 3 blogs a week. DONE!
5: Comment to other blogs, at least 20 a week. - I'm sure I did this during the first week of September but I'm not so sure of the last week. So I won't mark this one with a definite DONE! More like a Sorta-kinda-done. Yeah.

And that OMG to ALL of YOU!!! Writers and readers, you've all been so supportive since Gwen and I announced embarking on this shared journey to self-publish our novels. You've opened up your blogs, shared our covers and some of you are participants of our soon-to-come blogtown tour. The support has been outstanding and I don't think it's possible we can thank you enough. So be on the look out when the blogtown tour starts. We intend to do giveaways as a way to try and show our thanks.
So to you all, I ask, how are YOUR goals coming along?

I really enjoyed participating in your cover reveal, and GUTGAA has been amazing too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a productive month! :D
Thank you, Kyra. The cover reveal week was so amazing. All the blogger buddies really made us feel at home :-)
DeleteYou're doing well with your goals, and it's fun watching your progress on your self-pub journey. I'm off on holiday soon and my goal is to do all the last minute things on my list.
ReplyDeletePreparing for a holiday must be fun, Shelley. Here's to getting those last minute things done and having a wonderful time. I'm sure you'll take lots of beautiful pictures as well.
DeleteAwesome how you're accomplishing so much Angela. So excited for everything happening for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Natalie. I suppose no on can accuse me of being a bore lol!!! That is, unless they catch me in between activities and what they're actually noticing is my snore lol!!!
DeleteCongrats on getting so much accomplished. And thank you for including my giveaway in your post!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sheri. And you're more than welcome. This is an EPIC giveaway after all that has to be checked out.
DeleteYou've accomplished so much in so little time. No way I could edit and format a book that fast. It takes me two days just to work up the courage to format. And five days to recover when it's done. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been getting a lot of help and lurking at various helpful sites where other authours have shared how-to's or things that did or did not work for them. Learning from other's experiences has been helpful.
DeleteYou're an inspiration, Angela. Seriously. I'm always motivated whenever I visit. Keep up the awesomeness. :)
ReplyDeleteMy goals? Coming along, if not at a snail's pace.
Awww...thanks David. And hey, a snail's pace is a pace. That snail gets where it needs to in its own time :-)
DeleteThe Neverlove cover is gorgeous (I've been thinking it for a while, but can't actually remember if I told you or not . . .)!
ReplyDeleteAh goals . . . well, since "survive life and write more" have been my goals currently, I'm doing okay on that :D. Not as well as I need to be, but getting there!
Thanks for the cover love, Rebekah.
DeleteRef: "survive life and write more"
That is the best goal ever :-) Keep up with it. I'm tackling that one alongside ya!
Congrats to you! Mine are going smoothly so far. I'm indebted to my little calendar for keeping me on track. I love you, little calendar.
ReplyDeleteMake sure to give the little calendar a nice bear hug as well :-)

ReplyDeleteOur goals were pretty similar:) You got a lot done. I was a bit over-ambitious. I need to be less ambitious so I look better on paper, lol! Well done, Angela!
This is just September. October is coming right around the corner for us!
DeleteYou are the queen of awesomeness, Angela! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww...thanks, Susanna :-)
DeleteYou ladies have rocked the blogging world for weeks now, and the books haven't even been released yet! I think that's awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe're trying, Alex lol!! Hoping to have a humorous blast off for launch day :-)
DeleteI'm impressed you have all your goals done! And I'm looking forward to following your release.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Cherie. This is been an awesome journey so far. I couldn't have asked for a better Partner in ParanormYA than Gwen and for great blogger buddies all over the place :-)
DeleteWhere are you in the GUTGAA contest? I want to leave a comment!
ReplyDeleteFalling for Fiction :-)
DeleteI'm so excited to read your novel! Your cover is achingly beautiful. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Emily. I'm so excited. Trying to remain calm.
DeleteEEK!
Congrats on your goals! You are rocking it! And that cover is beautiful. I can't wait to read your book. And I am not sure how I missed your new blog, but dang - I am impressed. You two ladies are awesome! From one self-published author to another, bless you for such a wonderful site!! We need more of them like that!! =)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bonnie. Self-publishing is a very busy-ing endeavor. But it has its own rewards and I'm glad to have a chance to do it. :-)
DeleteYou're steaming ahead Angela. Love your program and that you're ticking off your goals. Cover is awesome.
ReplyDeleteDoing/setting monthly goals has really been helpful in making sure to hold myself accountable to getting things done.
Deleteyay for you! such an exciting time! looking forward to your debut!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tara. And I appreciate the support you've given us from the start :-)
DeleteOh, sorry I missed the cover reveal splash! I'll have to make up for it with a plug on my blog.
ReplyDeleteNo apologies needed, Cate. You are defintiely a hard working author. Anyone with any doubt can check out your blog and see the tons of titles you have published. And thanks for the plug *blush*
DeleteAmidst everything, you got a lot done.
