Pitching and I Need a Vacation After My Vacation

I've mentioned my Sekrit Project and shared Sekrit Project Nuggets. Well, today I'm pitching my MG story, titled FABLE RANGER, over at Susanna Hill's blog for Would You Read It Wednesday. Please make sure to stop by and share your thoughts and ways to improve the pitch, because there's always learning in writing, especially for me lol! Oh, make sure to tell Susanna "Hi!" because she is such a wonderful author and all-around person :-)

Also...

I've been rather flaky in the social media world for about a week and a half. It's for a really good reason:

*A Real Vacation*

I normally do the day-cation or stay-cation or fit-what-you-can-in-3-or-4-days-cation. But to take a whole week to just - BE - and have fun? Well, not my norm.

Sunday was travel with my Chipmunk.
Monday was Disneyland. WOOT!
Tuesday was fun with family and getting to meet some FUN-TASTIC friends! Much love to Graeme Ing and Gwen Gardner :-) Let's not forget the delicious Cadillac Margaritas. What! What!!
Wednesday and Thursday I got to have some Comic-Con fun because YEAH! Comic-Con was AWESOME! Loved the displays and cosplay :-)
Friday was originally going to be Vegas, Baby, Vegas! But we had so much fun at Disney that we went back for more fun there totally making the kid in me super happy!
Saturday was a day of relaxing and then getting my sweat on with a little dancing in the evening, hanging with my girl, Mia :-)

Sunday, dear me, I think I messed up a knee and threw some other things out of wack because my body was screaming a sore-bloody-murder lol!!

Monday, back home late.

OMG! I need to breathe and take a vacation from my vacation.

Now for catching up because I am SOOOOOOO far behind lol!

What are you all up to?

    1. It was wonderful, Natalie. And though I'm far behind in some things, it was much needed.

As for the knee, some of the soreness is gone but I'm at a loss to figure out which outing helped kick it into sore-gear lol!!

  2. I'm officially jealous! ...except for the knee. Hope it's not too bad. You must've had a VERY good time. ;-)

Ice that bad boy down and take something for the pain and swelling. I think you deserve at least a little vacation from your vacation.

    1. You jealous of me, Maria? Well, I'm just floored lol!

Me and the knee are having discussions. I think it's fussing at me for acting like I was twenty years old again :-)

  3. Your vacate looked better than mine even with the body aches and wrenched knee. Love the photo of Your Little Chipmunk, btw. Not so little anymore :)

      Le sigh.

It was an awesome vacation, body aches and all. :-)

    1. Getting to hang with Gwen and Graeme was AWESOME!

Chipmunk loved Disney. She especially enjoyed the Star Tours ride and hanging around Star Trader building her own light saber :-)

  10. Glad you had so much fun, Angela. Did you dress up for Comic Con? I'm jealous you got to go. I think Sparty was there. Did you see him?

    1. No dressing up for me. Just taking picture of the brave folks who did. And I barely scratched the surface with my photos lol! I read about Dante Basco (Rufio from the movie Hook) being there the same time as me. Wish I saw him. I might have geeked out because he's so cute lol! And no, didn't see Sparty :-(

  11. Holy! I'd say you need a vacation from vacation! lol Sounds like an absolute blast, though. Comic-con is totally on my bucket list. I live in state now, so I'm definitely going to have to hop a plane down there one of these years...

Have you been to Disney World? If so, how did Land stack up? We're definitely going to hit up DL while we live here in Cali at some point, but was curious if I'd be let down after visiting--and LOVING--DW. :)

    1. I haven't been to Disney World, just Disneyland so I wouldn't be able to give an honest comparison. I will say Disneyland was wonderful. From the Star Tours in Disneyland to Carsland in California Adventure. So much fun!!!

  16. What a vacation! Sometimes they do require a getaway from the getaway sort of break. Think of it as a reflection moment. :) I love that you got to meet Gwen!! How much fun! Sorry I'm a day late, but headed over to S.H.'s blog.
