The End is Just the Beginning

Summer camp is coming to an end.

School starts in a blink of an eye.

My schedule is about to get even crazier. But it's worth it to be a mother to my kiddo, able to pay some of my bills with my day gig until the fates align the planets and hundreds of thousands of readers download my 99cent ebooks, and to give a little time to my passion of reading and writing.

I salute you all to the end of one season in life and the beginning awaiting our next step.

Hugs to everyone and have a great weekend :-)

  3. You have a great weekend too! We dropped my oldest stepchild off at her first year of college yesterday and my own oldest doesn't start kindergarten until next year. You know what, though? I think that even without kids, Fall always seems like a new beginning--it must be stamped on all of us from our years of schooling.

  4. Fall is my favorite season so I love this time of year. Wishing you all the best - you will make it and be able to quit that day job. And I hope I will too LOL.

  5. Yeah, the summer is ending here, too. I go back to work on Tuesday, and everything changes. Not just my schedule, but a bunch of things are changing at work, too. Even our principals have admitted that too many things are being changed all at the same time, but it's happening above their heads.

  6. Have a great weekend. After I get past the massive back-to-school expenses in September, I look forward to the last quarter of the year. I LOVE Christmas!!!

  8. The end of summer beckons in another season with it's own issues. We had a good summer in the UK, the best in 6 years and that's saying something. How could I complain with getting at least 10 days of sun this year?
I know what's in store right now - one hell of a freezing cold next 9 months.....
    Angela, don't blink mate...

  10. Where did the summer go?? Here's to the fall, and cooler TX temps! For me, the school year brings about routine in our home. My girls (1 sophomore at Sam Houston and 1 sophomore in high school) are looking forward to beginning the year as well.
