Back In Check In

My brief time from the blogosphere felt a little odd, you know, the fear of stepping back and thinking everyone will easily forget about me. But I'm glad I did it. This time away was a time of great harvest:
 - got in some good reading
 - got in some marathon Supernatural episodes.
 - got in a bit of writing
 - got in a LOT of snacking and Christmas is around the corner so no panicking yet on the sugar-rush lol!

All in all, felt pretty good.

How was your Thanksgiving Holiday? Did you brave the Black Friday or early Grey Thursday mayhem? Are you getting in your deals this Cyber Monday?

  1. I enjoyed being off line for a few days too. We were away to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday so didn't get any writing done. But I have been reading some great books.

  2. Ahh, me. There was not enough snacking in my life lately. I'll have to redouble my efforts in December. :)

It's nice to get away or even slow down the pace. We all need it from time to time.

  3. Welcome back! I've cut back on blogging so I can write, but I do miss everyone on days I don't visit much.
Finished my shopping on Friday at home in front of my computer!

  6. No shopping for me. I hate crowds. Spent a lovely week hosting various children and grandchildren, which was such a treat! Even my son and his family made the trip from Washington. It's fun to see the little cousins playing together, and this was the first time my daughters got to see their new niece, who simply smiled her full-face smile at everyone as she was passed around.

Now it's on to winter solstice celebrations!

    1. Oh! That sounds like such a fun family time had by all. Little ones are such cuties and you just can't help smiling back at them when they show off their own adorable grins.

No shopping for me except for one online item. Never been a shopper and have no desire to be one, lol

  10. Sounds like you had a great time. I had a wonderful time too, but I avoided the shopping until yesterday to look for a tree.

  11. Hi Angela,

Were you away form blogging? LOL You had some other positive distractions to keep you occupied. That is good.

Thanksgiving? Ah yes, I enjoyed the one back in early October. Seems you enjoyed a time of great harvest.

Nice to see you back, Angela :)

  14. How could we forget about you? You should take time off every now and then. I think we need to or else we might burn out and I'd rather a blogger friend take a break, than break away!
