One Man

It is sometimes wondered if one man can make a difference. In the last century alone, we've had...
Mother Theresa
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
President John F. Kennedy
Mahatma Ghandi
The list could go on for a while with individuals who opted to be or accepted being the one man (or woman) to be a difference maker.

We've now lost another man whose life left the world a better place for his presence.
He was a man.
One man.

RIP Mr. Nelson Mandela

  1. True, Angela. Whenever I read words like yours, I ask myself if I've done what I can to make a difference in someone's life.

    1. It is a reminder that so much is possible if we try, even just one.

  6. Dear Angela,

And he dreamt of a nation becoming that of a rainbow. May his loving legacy be that of a rainbow planet. A planet where we celebrate the diversity of an all different, all equal world.

In the hope and peace that Nelson Mandela cherished.

  7. He definitely was an amazing man. Watched a good bio about him yesterday and I had no idea how much he had done and gone through. Hope he is being studied in schools.

  10. To think that this man spent so many years in prison, you wouldn't think he would have been able to achieve what he did, in the time he had left. It just proves how much one can do in a matter of a few years.
He was a great man and I hope that others will follow in his footsteps and pick up the mantle.
