What to do with you 2014?

Hello 2014...

You're brand new, shaking off the glitter and confetti of entering in...

And so unknown.

I realize we just met, but I'm filled with such temptation to plot and plan you out to the last minute so I can, I don't know, bend you to my will, maybe?

No, I won't do that. I will set goals, yes, and do my best to meet/beat those goals, but I shall step back and live, laugh and love...

And write.

So, hello 2014. It's wonderful to be here with you. Let's make it fun and prosperous :-)

Do you have any any particular wishes for 2014?

  1. I always pray for good health. This year I particularly prayed for a healthy Tank. He's even more frail than when you saw him last, but at least he made it to 2014--and he's happy--which means everything to me.

    1. Many gazillion hugs to Tank. I think he and I bonded on some level when I visited. Please have a great 2014, Maria :-)

  2. I love this, we should never forget to enjoy each day. I really want to publish all five books for my novella this year and complete my novel for this year's local JCDC Writing Competition.

  5. Happy 2014!
I'm looking forward to a book release, some ski trips, a 50th Anniversary party for my parents, and a big change in my life. The last one is kind of scary and exciting all at the same time. I'll share the details when it's official ...

  11. Such an awesome message in those few lines! I tend to swing like a pendulum...way too relaxed...or way too micromanaging. I need to find that happy goal oriented, without ripping a stress hole through my gut balance.

And may the adventure, the journey into the unknown that is 2014, bring contentment and fulfilment.
