Love the Shiney

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday.I had a lovely and relaxing day.

Now for a quick note: A new shiney idea has been brokering its way through the ranks vying for attention. I've got a couple of other projects demanding my focus now that I (Rayven) finished the Confessions series - boxed set coming soon.

So for a few weeks, I may be a tad bit, uh, what's the word...hmmmm...fickle in the blogosphere as I buckle down and work things out. There should be no need to put up one of these:

I'll get back to something slightly resembling a regular schedule as quickly as I can :-)

  1. Oooh, I have a shiny, too.
Even though the idea is only partially worked out, I might try a first chapter this week. With my last WIP sent off to my editor, I have a whole in my life I'd like to fill.

I have more than one precedent for jumping into a book before I know everything that happens. The Eighth Day is one of them, so it doesn't always turn out to be a disaster!

(Well, the 1st draft might be a disaster, but's that they way I work!)

I haven't imbibed enough coffee yet this morning to deal with homophones.

    1. The lack of caffeine can do that to us :-)

  6. I wish I had the discipline to finish with some of the only shineys so I can actually move on to more good stuff. But wait! I forgot, I said I wasn't writing anything new until the old ones are all done. Have fun, Angela.

  8. Hi human, Angela,

Are shinies anything like selfies? Shine away and never worry about a blogging schedule. What's a blogging schedule? Arf!
