IWSG and NaNoWriMo-go!

It is the first Wednesday of the month. Time for another wonderful episode of IWSG sharing, caring, commisserating, and encouraging.

What makes this such a special and enduring occasion is the ability to hop from blog to blog, reading what others are sharing: the good, the bad and the ugly. Then, because the writing community is truly an awesome community, commenting and encouraging others to help in understanding that as solitary as writing can be, there's no need to feel all alone in this process.

So, click here to blog hop about :-)

Each month, there is an optional question. This month's question is:
How has your creativity in life evolved since you began writing?

Please feel free to share in the comments your answer to that question. Or, how are things going for you if you are participating in NaNoWriMo?

Myself? Having a bit of difficulty, but I've got something more than just a blank screen. Not a lot...but it's a start lol!!

I've signed up for NaNo but I'm soooo far behind in my word count. Hoping I can catch up by the end of the month. Good luck with your writing in November. Cheers - Ellen

Now, back to writing.

Is there a time of year when the writing comes harder for you? For me, November is filled with family visits and a wedding. Keeping that momentum going can be tough. I try to touch base with my characters every day, even if only for a paragraph. Wishing you productive writing in November.

This brought a big smile to my face, Angela! Especially after several long and trying days. NaNoWriMo would likely put me over the edge. Kudos to all the brave souls who take on that challenge. Happy writing in November.

I'm planning to get back into writing as soon as this play is over. I'll have to confront the blank page soon because I've revised as much as I can. We'll see how it goes.

Glad to hear your screen isn't blank! Best of luck with NaNo. Nope, I'm not participating this year. Hopefully next year. OR maybe I'll start a private NaNo for myself. Need to get working on a new project, although I have no idea what that will be. LOL
