"She kicks it and GOOOOAAAALLL!"

source
Sometimes, things just fall into place.  Okay, so they may tumble a bit, a corner knicking your head or another something crashing into your shins...but the pieces eventually fit, mostly, sort of.

Well, that's been March 2012 for me.  Here were my goals:
Goals for March 2012:
1: Complete revision of MINGLED and get it to beta readers MINGLED is now in the hands of beta readers YAY!!!
2: Post 3 blogs a week Accomplished this each week.
3: Read 3 books Actually, I got about 4 books read: Across the Universe by Beth Revis, Lacrimosa by Christine Fonseca, Nowhere Girl by A. J. Paquette and a hot one by Nadja Notariani coming out very soon titled The Third Fate.  Definitely be on the lookout for THAT one.  It is for a mature audience though.  Just so you know.
4: Comment to other blogs, at least 20 to 25 a week. Pretty sure this was done times like two or three or something.
5. Participate in A Picture Paints 1000 Words blogfest at Unicorn Bell I did and you can read my story here.  I didn't make the cut but heck, the ones who did are fracking outstanding!!!  Check them out here so you can vote for your fave.
6. Get at least 14 of my A to Z blogging challenge blogs scheduled.I've got A through N scheduled.  Phew!

That's all folks.  Have a great weekend and let's have loads of fun with the A to Z blogging challenge :-)

Yay for meeting your goals!! Score!

March was pretty draining for me, what with massive manuscript revisions, report cards, state standardized tests, and parent conferences. (And only the first one on that list was fun.)

I am looking forward to waving good-bye to March.

Great job! I hope April is equally as successful!

Congrats on meeting your goals!! And your entry in the blogfest was outstanding.

Full Steam Ahead!

Good job! And congrats on finishing your revision and getting it out to beta readers!

Here, here Dianne. Though I'm a bit saddened that the parent conference one couldn't be as much fun as well. Though, having had some wonderful discussions with Chipmunk's teacher, I understand that things aren't peachy with every parent.

March is marching on out and may April be a productive month.

Thank you, Kyra. I look forward to April being a slightly calmer month, hopefully no shins bumping into anything...again. lol!!!

Thank you, Huntress. The entries for the blogfest were just ridiculous. I mean the talent blew me away every time I read one. I loved it!!!!

And yes, full steam ahead!!!

Thank you, Alessa. I wanted to complete all the goals for March but this one I REALLY wanted to get done. So happy to see that one happen.

Awesome Angela. Congrats! After reading about your day, which is similar to mine, I'm impressed with how much you get done.

Angela Brown said...

Thanks, Natalie. It can be a challenge but writing is a such a deeply etched passion that I enjoy doing all this stuff :-)

Congrats, Angela! Well done.

Thank you so much, Matt :-)

Congrats on a fantastic month of knocking out those goals! Here's to another awesome month :)

Angela Brown said...

Cheers, Raelyn. I'd toast with a glass of wine but it's a bit too early in the morning for me so I'm toasting with my cup of sliced grapefruit instead :-)

Angela Cothran said...

Hip Hip Hooray! Did you feel me lift you up on my shoulders? Congrats! That must feel so great :)

Wow Angela! I'm so impressed. Way to get your MS out to beta readers. You're my inspiration.

"And she scores!" Awesome job on meeting those goals, Angela!

Angela Brown said...

LOL!!! You are very strong there, Angela. :-)

Thank you so much. It actually does feel pretty good. This monthly goal thing as really kept me on point.

Angela Brown said...

Awwww *blush*

Thanks, Erin.

Angela Brown said...

Thank you, Christy. It was well worth the work to get these goals met. Part of it, especially the reading, wasn't work at all :-)

Randy said...

Congrats. You did much better on your goal meeting than I did. What do you have planned for next month?

Clarissa Draper said...

Congrats! You are amazing!

Angela Brown said...

Thanks Randy. Next month is a much calmer month. My main focus is the A to Z blogging challenge, trying to visit and follow as many as I can on a regular basis then get some reading done. April will be such a slacker month compared to March lol!!!

Angela Brown said...

Thanks, Clarissa. And now I am tired. I suppose a long nap will have to happen this weekend :-)

Alex J. Cavanaugh said...

Awesome! You hit every goal. Time for new ones, right?

You got lots done, Angela. I'm envious of you on the A-Z front. I'm still at 'A' despite my determination to get a whole pile done before April 1.

Angela Orlowski-Peart said...

You are on a roll, girl! Awesome progress worth celebrating :-)

Eliza Tilton said...

Nice!

Angela Brown said...

Yep. Though I think the new ones for April are not as aggressive :-)

Angela Brown said...

You've still got a little time left to get "A" done. That's all you need to get the ball rolling.

Angela Brown said...

I wasn't sure if I'd make it but I hunkered down and sat my butt in the chair to get there.

Angela Brown said...

Thanks, Eliza.

Emily R. King said...

Yay for beta readers! You rock, Angela. April is gonna be a great month for you, too. :)

Susanna Leonard Hill said...

Great job on your goals, Angela! :D Woohoo!

PJ Hoover said...

You had a great March! Way to go! And now another wonderful month sits ahead. I kind of love that! Have fun!

Shelley Munro said...

You've done well, Angela. I hope your April is just as productive.

Nadja Notariani said...

Everything crossed out on your list?!! Super, Angela! Of course, for ROW80 it's time to make a new list. Are you joining in for ROW80 - round 2 for 2012?

How are you doing while waiting for your beta reads? I'm always antsy...lol.

I've tinkered, rearranged, replaced words and phrases, eradicated unnecessary commas (Oh that was a job...haha) and read until my eyes crossed. Now...The Third Fate is 'publishing' on Amazon. Here we go! I'll let you know once it's live and I have a sneak peek at it. :} I'm quite smiley today.

Angela Brown said...

I'm looking forward to April. I should get feedback from my betas then I'll take my time figuring what my next step should be.

Angela Brown said...

Thanks, Susanna. Now if I can just get a few more posts scheduled, that would be awesome and give me more time to prowl around other blogs.

Angela Brown said...

It's a great feeling accomplishing them all. Thanks, Carrie.

Angela Brown said...

That's actually a pretty cool point, PJ. Each month is a new chance to set goals and accomplish forward progress.

Angela Brown said...

Thanks, Shelley. April looks promising.

Angela Brown said...

ROW80 sounds nice but I think the monthly goal setting has been a good thing for me. So no ROW80, though I will be at your blog checking your progress with you :-)

As for the waiting, it's not so bad. I know what I WANT to hear but I know what I NEED to hear and that is where I get a little antsy. So I'm going to patiently wait for the feedback, thankful to my betas for taking the time out of their busy lives to help me out.

Sangu Mandanna said...

Amazing, Angela! It's such a lovely feeling when you achieve everything you'd set out to do.

Cate Masters said...

Wow, even one or two of those goals would have been great, but yep, you are amazing. :) Congrats, especially on getting your story out to betas.

Lady Gwen said...

Wowee, girl - you totally rocked March! I sit in front of my computer for hours every day and don't get so much done. Well done!

Talli Roland said...

Well done - go girl go! Great month!

Good luck today with the start of the challenge!
