IWSG - Inspired

The first Wednesday of the month has arrived. This is the day for members of the Insecure Writer's Support Group to commiserate in something bothersome (because darnit! we don't have to suffer alone) or we can share in something positive. Today, I'm going with the latter.

I'd like to share about the availability of INDIESTRUCTIBLE:

Need motivation and inspiration to self-publish or sign that contract with an interested small press? Have you done all the research you can, but still feel ambivalent about the idea? Indiestructible: Inspiring Stories from the Publishing Jungle brings you the experiences of 29 indie authors—their passions, their insights, their successes—to help you make the leap into indie publishing.

Buy INDIESTRUCTIBLE today! Only 99c!

100% of proceeds will be donated to
BUILDON.org, a movement which breaks the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations through service and education.

So that is today's positive for IWSG. Check out what other members have to share by visiting other blogs on this blog hop list.

The best thing I like about that books is how it features stories from a whole bunch of different writers, showing that there are a variety of paths of the promised land of publishing or getting your work out there as a writer. It's books like this one that has something that many readers can relate to because if they don't find themselves in one person's story, they might connect with the next person's story in the book.

Congrats on being featured in the book! Is it available on Nook? I don't have a Kindle. That's not to say that I have a Nook either, lol, but I can get access to one faster than a Kindle. My friends and family are on the iPad/Nook game.
