In Remembrance of...

There will be BBQs. Smiling, happy people will gather on this holiday enjoying each other's company, catching up on things, and making future plans. All of this is good. It's wonderful. And it's important to remember brave men and women fought and died so that such free and spirited interactions are ours to enjoy.

This Memorial Day, I thank all those who've made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

I make it a point to donate to veteran's causes, and on Memorial Day I make an extra contribution to centers that help vets get back on their feet. They deserve our respect. Enjoy your day of remembrance, Angela.

Very well said. We're enjoying a Bank Holiday with no special significance, but I've spared a thought for Memorial Day.
